Only people who have been close to animals can really understand the "heart felt" ties that come as a result of livin' with 'em. And when those ties are broken, it does cause real "heart felt" pain!

That's the reason, I guess, that I could not seem to be able to make a "handsome-lookin' boy." Pain in the heart causes pain on our faces (Prov. 15:13). And that's all I could seem to "shape" as I worked on him, even though I tried to make him handsome.

The only excuse I have for makin' such an ugly kid, is the same weak excuse that Aaron gave when his brother, Moses confronted him with "fashioning" (made with intent) a calf for the people to worship, which was a sin against God! (Exo 32:4) Aaron's "weak" excuse, like mine, was "I just throwed it in the fire, and this is what come out!" (Jack Stevens' version; Exo 32:24)
